Sunny Ashtray in Pearl Sky

The top of the debowler on this tray was hand painted with mother of pearl luster before being fired a third time in the kiln to render the finish permanent. See below for special cleaning instructions 🙂

The removable debowler functions as a lid to keep your ashes safe from blowing in the wind or catching air thanks to a beloved pet’s aggressive tail. The wave detail is more than just cute – it cradles joints like a traditional ashtray.

CLEANING:

This piece is made using mother of pearl and/or 22k gold luster that has been fired onto the piece in the kiln. Luster is an overglaze that creates a beautiful but more delicate finish than glaze alone. Please take extra care while cleaning this piece by avoiding the use of abrasives on areas with luster. Do not submerge this bubbler in alcohol for long periods of time. Instead, follow the instructions in this cleaning tutorial to keep this piece looking new forever.
