Floral Orb Ashtray

This is the final Orb ashtray we will ever make! The lid lifts to reveal a spike that functions as a debowler. The surface has been handpainted with underglaze and 22k gold luster.

The Orb ashtray features a spherical shape to protect ash from the wind or a particularly aggressive tail on your furry friend. This ashtray fits comfortably in the hand and has four resting points for jays.

CLEANING:

• This piece is made using mother of pearl and/or 22k gold luster that has been fired onto the piece in the kiln. Luster is an overglaze that creates a beautiful but more delicate finish than glaze alone. Please take extra care while cleaning this piece by avoiding the use of abrasives on areas with luster. Do not submerge this bubbler in alcohol for long periods of time. Instead, follow the instructions in this cleaning tutorial to keep this piece looking new forever.
